ALL STARS WIND BAND

The Directions In Music Allstars Wind band is a collection of talented musicians all excelling on their chosen instrument.We play a variety of music including jazz, pop, and symphonic repertoire, and have performed at venues including Darling Harbour, Sydney Showground, and the Seymour Centre. The DIM ALLSTARS WIND BAND is designed to provide experienced students the chance to shine in an ensemble of outstanding young players.

Our band is equipped with the latest equipment and resources and the repertoire we play will be exciting and varied – perfect for those music students who are seeking a new challenge or that extra motivation!

Under the Baton

Our chief conductor, Phil Molloy is a highly accomplished band director, bringing experience and success to lead this exceptional band. Rehearsals are held on Tuesday evenings from 5.15pm - 6.45pm at Randwick Boys High School.

Cost of Membership

Membership of the Allstars is $220 (inc.GST) per semester (2 terms). All members will receive a performance shirt, hat, bag, music folder, and the best of anything else we might need!

Auditions!

It is not too late to audition. We still have some places available. Auditions can be made by appointment. Students should be prepared to play a study or recent piece that demonstrates their ability, as well as one or two scales. In some cases you may be invited to sit in to a rehearsal by way of assesing your ability. Register your interest and request an audition by completing the form below.
