ALL STARS WIND BAND

After much planning and many requests, Directions In Music is proud to announce our own symphonic wind band commenced in 2009! The DIM ALLSTARS WIND BAND is designed to provide experienced students the chance to shine in an ensemble of outstanding young players.

Our band will be equipped with the latest equipment and resources and the repertoire we play will be exciting and varied – perfect for those music students who are seeking a new challenge or that extra motivation!

Under the Baton

Our chief conductor, Phil Molloy is a highly accomplished band director, bringing experience and success to lead this exceptional band. Rehearsals will be held on Tuesday evenings from 5.15pm - 6.45pm at Randwick Boys High School.

Cost of Membership

Membership of the Allstars will be $220 (inc.GST) per semester (2 terms). All members will receive a performance shirt, rehearsal t-shirt, hat, bag, music folder, and the best of anything else we might need!

Auditions!

It is not too late to audition. We still have some places available. Auditions can be made by appointment. Students should be prepared to play a study or recent piece that demonstrates their ability, as well as one or two scales. Register your interest and request an audition by completing the form below.
