WELCOME TO DIRECTIONS IN MUSIC

HELLO AND WELCOME! Looking to join band in 2012? Click on the Enrolling for Band Circle and complete the online form. Make sure you read and check the appropriate boxes to ensure your enrolment is received! If you would like to hire an instrument from us in 2012 you will also need to complete a separate instrument hire application. Just click on the instrument tab and complete the online hire application to secure your instrument. How to get results PRACTICE! A regular practice routine is the key to improving on your instrument. Parents & children should agree on a suitable time together and stick to it. Find a good place to practice without distractions and work on the things you have done in band and lessons. PARENTS! - Don't be tempted to ignore the sound until it improves - you need to be part of the process! Encourage mini concerts at home and ask you child to play for you as often as possible. More experienced students should be practising scales and exercises at home, as well as current repertoire. Please come to your band rehearsals prepared!
ALLSTARS WIND BAND The Directions In Music ALLSTARS WIND BAND is sounding fantastic and gearing up for our 2011 performance program. The band is open to upper primary students as well as high school, and we perform at public events and festivals. If you are interested in joining the band,there are still some places available.
